XF 2.2 Is there a way to allow users to react to their own posts?

Huh. I am on a site using Circle and thought being able to Like your own post, as you can there, was kind of silly. Guess there is a case for it on some sites, though.

I don't understand why people like their own posts on facebook either. To me, doesn't make any sense.

It makes a lot of sense to allow users to rate their own posts in certain situations.

Example: People add products, services, restaurants, etc., to a thread, and all(!) users can rate these "items" through reactions on the posts.

Example: When should we have the next party?

• Post 1: Next Monday
• Post 2: Monday in two weeks
• Post 3: Sunday

Example: Example: What is the best {whatever}?


There are many things for which a poll is not the best solution. And Xenforo is capable of so much more than just being a conversation stack for notes. You just need to open your mind, and you can discover the most wonderful things you can do with this software.
