Forum Rules Updates

This thread will serve as a reference point for whenever we make notable rules updates. You can always view the latest version of the rules here:

New rule added today:

9. Service and resource providers may not solicit via conversations unless direct communication is explicitly invited.

Due to a blatant attempt to bypass the new rule, it has since been tweaked to cover any and all promotion.

17. Promotion of any XenForo-related services/offerings, add-ons/resources, threads or sites is not allowed in profile posts. There are dedicated areas for this.

The third party services forum is now the place to advertise promotions and special offers (one thread per member per type of service).
